§ 14-79. Policies and procedures.

The county manager shall implement policies, rules and regulations relative to the initiation of citizens' complaints. Determination by appropriate county officials of the existence of probable cause to believe that an offense under any section of this chapter has occurred can result in the issuance of a citation from the magistrate court of the county. Persons accused shall show cause before the court at a time, date and place specified therein why those so charged should not be determined to have committed such offense and be punished as provided in this chapter, subject to the right of the board of commissioners to vacate any such policy, procedure, rule or regulation.
