§ 2-286. Need established; purpose.

There is hereby determined and declared a pressing, existing and future need for a development authority to function in the county for the purpose of developing and promoting for the public good and general welfare trade, commerce, industry and employment opportunities in the county, thereby promoting the general welfare of the citizenry and in furtherance of that purpose, to issue revenue bonds which bear interest at rates fixed by the board of directors of such development authority in order to provide capital for the development of industrial facilities.
